CABE San Diego South County Chapter 65 is proud to recognize one outstanding bilingual sixth-grade student from each school of the San Diego South Bay region. The award encourages sixth-grade students to excel in their studies and promotes future careers in bilingual education. To obtain the award for a select student, every school needs to submit its recommendation below. 

 

Teachers please:

​1)    Select only one (1) student from your school that you consider being the most deserving of this award.​

2)    Have the student(s) write a short paragraph describing the benefits of being bilingual & biliterate and as a school team select one winner.

3)    Please upload the winning student’s paragraph in PDF or Word format in the Google Form linked below in the "register" button.

​The CABE Scholarship Awards Breakfast will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. at Rancho del Rey Middle, located at 1174 East J St., Chula Vista, CA 91910.  Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. The honoree and one guest will receive free admission to the breakfast.

 

Others wishing to attend the breakfast will need to purchase a ticket for $10 cash at the door. Please reserve this date and join us in honoring all the students who will be receiving scholarships. RSVPs are required.
